I’ve had my eye on this small server for some time. The price dropped from $679 to $499 on the barebones version and I purchased it. I will add 64Gb of ram to the computer and a 7.5Tb U.2 SSD drive. I would like to install Ubuntu Server and Llama 3 on it. I’d like to see if I can replace my GitHub Co-Pilot subscription with a private AI code assistant.

Quick note here: After my purchase I noticed both the minisforum store website and Amazon websites said the MS-01 was out of stock. I contacted minisforum support and they refunded my purchase.
