I have the RTX 3090 Founders Edition I bought on eBay from chickenpotpie43. Everything came as promised and appears to be working.
I have truly shown my lack of power supply cabling prowess. I’ve ordered a bunch of cables, they were all the incorrect types. I finally purchased a new Corsair RM750 power supply and to my surprise it came with cables. Who knew? I still was missing some 8pin-to-8pin PCIe power cables and I ordered them from Amazon. I got them today and hooked everything up.
First, power sequencing the DEG1 and MS-A1. I shutdown the MS-A1 and remove the power supply. With the DEG1 powered off I connected the OCuLink cable from the DEG1 to the MS-A1. Then I power on the DEG1 (power light is lit and the RTX 3090 fan moves quietly). Then I power up the MS-A1. I think I may have a BOIS setting incorrect, because the MS-A1 network interface works during the boot up phase but fails after boot up is complete.
I have unhooked the DEG1 (reverse the process) and the network comes up fine. I have opened a support ticket with Minisforum on the issue. I’ll keep you updated on my progress.
